John is of counsel to our firm focusing on real estate acquisition, development and financing. His practice is broad and deep, encompassing the entire real estate spectrum — from representing buyers and sellers in the purchase or sale of single-family homes and condominiums, to representing developers in the acquisition, development and/or sale of major commercial and residential properties, including, office buildings and office and residential condominiums.


In his 47-year legal career, John has advised clients during the full range of economic cycles in all aspects of real estate acquisition and development: including the creation ownership entities; negotiation and drafting letters of intent and purchase and sale agreements; negotiation and closing of financing; and conducting title, zoning and permitting due diligence.


John has created, and handled all legal aspects of, the full spectrum of commercial and residential condominium development from small residential projects to mixed use Master and High-Rise developments. John has also for many years represented condominium associations regarding both every day and complex matters. He has represented banks and other lenders in all aspects of commercial real estate, and other, loan transactions, including acquisition, development, cooperative and condominium association financing.
